National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test for Masters of Dental Surgery (NEET MDS 2025) is an eligibility-cum-ranking examination prescribed as the single entrance examination for admission in various Post Graduate MDS Courses under the Dentists Act, 1948. No entrance examination, other than NEET MDS, either at the state or institution level, shall be valid for entry to MDS Courses as per the Dentists Act, 1948.

The scores obtained in both NEET BDS and NEET MDS, will be accepted by all the top-ranking medical colleges, and top-ranking dental colleges- government and private - at all Indian levels.
All India has 50% quota seats for MDS courses (all states except Andhra Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, and Telangana). State quota seats for MDS courses for all States/ Union territories of India (including the states of Andhra Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, and Telangana).

The National Board of Examinations (NBE) conducts NEET MDS 2025 which was established by the Government of India in 1975. NEET MDS is organized as a national-level examination for admission into the Master of Dental Science (MDS). NEET MDS takes place once a year. NEET MDS is conducted online i.e. Computer-Based Test (CBT) which contains MCQs (Multiple Choice Questions) with a single correct response.

The following Institution is not covered by centralized admissions for MDS seats through NEET MDS.

• All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi
• Jawaharlal Institute Postgraduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER)

Candidates who want to apply for the NEET MDS exam should make sure they fit the given eligibility criteria and then apply. If at any point in the entire process, the applicant is found ineligible, they will be disqualified. The application process for NEET MDS 2025 was re-opened again on Apr 3, 2025, and the last date to fill out the application form is Apr 6, 2025. Only students completing internships between Apr 1 and Jun 30, 2025 are eligible to apply. The correction window for the applicants is also open till Apr 9, 2025. 

Students must edit the NEET MDS application form between Mar 14 to Mar 17, 2025. Candidates must ensure they meet the eligibility requirements set forth by the conducting body before applying for the exam.

• To access the NEET MDS application form 2025, candidates must complete the registration process by entering the required details.
• NBE will open the application correction window after the application process is concluded.
• Candidates can use this facility to edit the uploaded photograph, photograph captured through webcam, signature, and thumb impression according to the guidelines laid down by the authorities on the official website.
• No further opportunity will be provided to rectify the incorrect images after the stipulated period which may lead to the non-issuance of admit cards.
• NEET MDS 2025 application form does not let a candidate change major information such as Gender, Name, Date of Birth, etc.
• Candidate must fill out their NEET MDS form carefully and review it before submission.
