NEET 2025 exam counselling schedule (revised) has been released. Additionally, the revised NEET counselling schedule also includes the Online Stray Vacancy Round, which will conclude on Nov 5, 2025.

The NEET round 2 registration process started on Sep 4, 2025. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the revised schedule for NEET 2025 Counselling Round 2, and the seat allotment result was published on Sep 17, 2025. Finally, candidates must report to their allotted institutes between Sep 18, 2025, and Sep 23, 2025. 

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced the seat matrix and vacancies for the NEET 2025 Counselling Round 2. There are 7,088 virtual vacancies and 13,501 clear vacancies in the MBBS, BDS, and BSc Nursing programs. MCC has also announced the addition of 1,134 MBBS and BDS seats for NEET counselling round 2.

The AYUSH Counselling 2025 schedule has been announced with important dates for candidates to follow. The second round of choice filling will be conducted from Sep 18 to Sep 22, 2025. Following this, the seat allotment result for Round 2 has been declared on Sep 25, 2025. Finally, candidates who are allotted seats must report between Sep 26 and Oct 3, 2025, to confirm their admission and complete the necessary formalities.

NEET UG is an entrance examination for students who wish to study undergraduate and postgraduate medical courses (MBBS, MD, MS) and dental courses (BDS, MDS) in any government, private, or dental college in India. The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts NEET UG annually to provide admission to eligible candidates in MBBS/BDS courses. NTA shall offer around 63,835 seats through NEET 2025 exam. Candidates have to remember that they can apply for only 15% of seats in each college through NEET. These are known as the All India Quota seats.

The other 85% will be distributed according to the State Government and the college policy. Admissions for all Undergraduate courses in JIPMER and AIIMS happen only through NEET Entrance Exam from the academic year 2020.

NEET 2025 exam will be conducted online, in 10 different languages including English, Hindi, Marathi, Odia, Tamil, Urdu, Bengali, Telegu, Kannada, and Assamese. The exam paper for NEET UG 2025 will be divided into three different sections, which are Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. A NEET aspirant must attempt to answer 180 questions in 3 hours.
