Sreenidhi Institute of Science and Technology was set up in 1997 by Dr R. Natarajan, the then IIT Madras Director. SNIST is a technical institute located in Hyderabad, Telangana. It is promoted by the Sree Educational Society. Sreenidhi is the first engineering college among 191 engineering colleges affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University [JNTU] to be accredited by NBA.

SNIST was set up in 1997 as a not-for-profit university run by Sreenidhi Educational Group of the Sree Group of Industries and approved by UGC. The college considers various entrance exams like JEE Mains, TS EAMCET, GATE, TS PGECET, CAT, ECET and ICET for admission to various courses.

SNIST Eligibility Criteria 

SNIST has set up different criteria for admission in different courses. The candidate must fulfil all the requirements for getting admission. The basic criteria for some courses are as follows

B.Tech Eligibility Criteria 

• Students should have passed 10+2 with PCM as a compulsory subject and secure a minimum of 45% aggregate marks from a recognised board.
• The selection of candidates for the B.Tech course is based on the marks secured by the candidates in the EAMCET, ECET and JEE Mains exams.

M.Tech Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must hold B.E./B. Tech degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from a recognised university.
• Candidates must have obtained a valid score in TS PGECET or GATE.

M.B.A Eligibility Criteria 

• Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline and have a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from a recognised university. 
• Candidates must have obtained a valid score in TS ICET or CAT.
