IIM Indore Cutoff 2025

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Indore follows a structured admission process for its flagship PGP and IPM programs, where the CAT exam cutoff plays a major role. To streamline the selection process, the institute releases two types of cutoffs every year:

1. Qualifying CAT Cutoff (Eligibility Cutoff)

  • This is the minimum percentile requirement that candidates must secure in CAT to be considered for the next admission stage.
  • It is used only for shortlisting candidates for the Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds.
  • The qualifying cutoff is not very high (often around the 90 percentile overall, with section-wise minimums).
  • Meeting this cutoff does not guarantee admission, but ensures eligibility for further rounds.

2. Final CAT Cutoff (Composite Cutoff)

  • The final cutoff is the actual percentile at which candidates are offered admission after all selection stages.
  • It is much higher than the qualifying cutoff, often in the 97–99 percentile range for General category candidates.
  • Apart from CAT scores, the final cutoff also factors in:
    • Academic background (Class 10, 12, Graduation performance)
    • Work experience (if applicable)
    • Gender and academic diversity
    • Performance in WAT and PI

Key Difference

  • Qualifying Cutoff = Minimum eligibility for interview shortlisting.
  • Final Cutoff = Actual admission cutoff after WAT & PI.

IIM Indore cutoff 2025 will be released soon. The expected minimum cutoff for MBA admission for 2026 is 90 for the general category. The IIM Indore cutoff is determined by the factors like the exam's level of difficulty, the number of candidates who took the exam, the number of people who passed the exam, the number of seats, and the institute's ranking.
