IIIT Hyderabad was founded in 1998 as a not-for-profit private partnership and is the country's first IIIT to follow this model. IIIT Hyderabad Admission

IIIT Hyderabad is an autonomous institution that offers admission to undergraduate, postgraduate, doctorate, and dual degree programs in various specialties, including B.Tech, M.Tech, M.S, and PhD. IIITH offers an online application for admission. 

International Institute of Information Technology Hyderabad admissions in 2025 are determined with the help of entrance tests. JEE Main or UGEE entrance scores are required for admission to BTech, and GATE and PGEE for MTech courses. The admission criteria for a few of the courses offered by IIIT Hyderabad are given below:

• B.Tech: The candidate must have completed 10+2 in PCM with 75% aggregate marks. Selection to the program is based on JEE Main scores and JoSAA counselling.
• M.Tech: Applicants must have completed a BE/ B.Tech degree from a recognized university. Selection to the course is based on GATE scores, followed by CCMT counselling.
• Ph.D: Candidates must have a B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech/M.Sc/MCA degree. Selection will depend on the candidate's performance in the written test and personal interview.

IIIT Hyderabad Placement Highlights 2023

IIIT Hyderabad placement has been successfully conducted and concluded for the year 2023. The International Institute of Information Technology Hyderabad placement saw the overall IIIT Hyderabad highest package at INR 1.2 CPA. In addition, the IIIT Hyderabad average package stood at INR 23.43 LPA. Under the IIIT Hyderabad PhD course, the highest package offered was INR 15 LPA.

The official placement report of IIITH 2023 states that 341 students were placed. Top organizations like TCS, Deloitte, Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Infosys, Capgemini, Accenture and JIO participated in the IIIT Hyderabad placements.  Placement-related activities like guest lectures, summer internships, pre-placement talks, skill enhancement workshops, and campus drives are taken care of by the IIIT Hyderabad placement team.
