DTU Admission 2025
DTU admissions are based on national-level entrance examinations. Students seeking admission at DTU must fulfill the eligibility criteria set by the university and appear for the relevant entrance examination. Interested students should follow the criteria below for Delhi Technological University admissions:
- BTech: Candidates seeking admission to BTech must appear for the JEE Main and participate in the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) for the seat allotment process.
- MTech: Candidates seeking admission to MTech must appear for the GATE and participate in the Centralized Counselling for MTech (CCMT) for the seat allotment process.
- MBA: Candidates seeking admission to MBA must appear for the CAT and participate in the DTU counseling process for seat allotment.
- MSc: Candidates seeking admission to MSc must appear for the CUET PG and participate in the DTU counseling process for seat allotment.
Delhi Technological University Admission Eligibility Criteria
Admission to DTU Delhi requires candidates to meet academic and exam-based criteria for UG, PG, and doctoral courses. Relaxations apply as per government regulations.
- UG Programs: Candidates must have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 60% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics for BTech (55% for OBC-NCL, 50% for SC/ST/PwD). For BBA and BA (Hons) Economics, 50% marks in 10+2 with English (40% for SC/ST/PwD, 45% for OBC-NCL).
- PG Programs: A Bachelor’s degree with at least 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwD) for MBA and MTech. For MSc, a relevant Bachelor’s degree with 50% marks. MBA Executive requires 3 years of work experience and 50% in graduation.
- Doctoral Programs: A Master’s degree in a relevant field with at least 50% marks. Candidates with UGC/CSIR/DST fellowships are exempt from the entrance test.
- Entrance Requirement: JEE Main for BTech, CUET UG for BBA/BA, UCEED for BDes, GATE or DTU test for MTech, CAT/MAT for MBA, and DTU PhD test or UGC/CSIR NET for PhD.
- Reservation/Relaxation: 85% seats reserved for Delhi NCT candidates, 15% for outside Delhi. Relaxations for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD as per government norms. One seat per course for Single Girl Child (SG) and Kashmiri Migrants (KM).
